Of course weight has bearing on speed, but since we already know speed....the factor that effects it is irrelevant, because regardless of what the final weight is it won't change the performance numbers we already know.

In actuality we don't know speed, we only know what Mero did. The mag tests will be where the real performance figures come in to play.

I'm guessing it'll probably come in at 3350lb all up maybe a little more. About the same as a C6GS.

The Z51 'vert should still be lighter than the C6 427 though...

I find it rather amusing that this far into the game, GM still has not released "official" weight or performance figures. Does anybody else think it is a bit strange ?

Sorry to give you the news but you forgot the word "official". Where is the car weight with Z51 ? Nothing more than conjecture. I am not suggesting conspiracy here but it is rather funny that nothing is on their corporate web site.
