You need to get on the forum more often. As close as you are to Mike Furman, why would you even mess with Kerbeck ?

BINGO. I gave up on my local dealer and went to Mike. Guess what... I spoke with an actual person named Mike and a few minutes later put down a deposit.
Local dealers by and large are 1) clueless how to sell Corvettes and 2) asking for mark ups or want you to buy a car already ordered by them instead of a bespoke model.
Why bother?

And why would they close? Insurance should cover most of it. Did you mean they temporarily shutdown for repairs because closed sounds like they closed the business down.

No guys, no fires, floods or other acts of God regardless of what you may have heard. All is well!
We have been pretty busy though so I'm sorry if you couldn't get through. Feel free to contact me directly via email since you are sure to get an answer back from me no matter what.

I got a call from Dave last friday to firm up my options for the second consensus as well as a reply via email from both Dave and my salesman Sam on Thursday and Friday respectively... Not sure about the fire but seems like business as usual to me as they were able to pull out my order number, options and status code. Perhaps they're just busy putting in all 110 orders for the second consensus?
