Default Mild2Wild on a C7

Have any of you GM employees out there heard whether or not the Mild2Wild exhaust control will also work on the C7? I live in AZ where exhaust does not have to be quiet, so I'd rather install it before driving the car home from the Museum Delivery. . . if it will work.
Please let me know if anyone at GM has tried it, & whether or not it was successful.

Oh the problems we Corvette freaks must deal with!

No need for Mild2Wild, the NPP exhaust is adjustable via the driver mode switch/IP settings.

Check out this thread. It seems like an after-market M2W is unnecessary.

Nice development on the 7 with the selectable settings.

THAT'S AWESOME. Where did you find details on the driver mode adjustments. That's one thing I'm still missing in my C7 fact book.

I did learn that a simple fuse will override the 1-4 skip-shift and ordered one to carry with me to Bowling Green!

So you're saying it's the same type of fuse in the same location in the C7?

I found it at CorvetteMods.com. You simply remove the CAGS fuse (in the #10 position of the fuse block) and replace it with their "dummy" fuse. Seems simple enough.

OK, but that's for the C6. It's likely it will be possible for the C7, but the details are not known yet.

I'm not going to argue. But Corvette Mods sold it for the C7, so I'm assuming they may know something. And for a few bucks, I'll take my chances.

When you think about it, the M2W is just a relay that opens and closes the circuit to the exhaust controller, with the same results as just pulling the fuse.
The M2W is just a way to "pull the fuse" by remote control.

On top of that, won't the front actuators still close being on a different circuit that cannot be messed with or it throws a code ?

No, it's not that simple!

Yep for my C6 had a ~$10 remote relay (bought for another project) that could have been used but preferred using a simple toggle switch mounted in the front cup holder to bypass the fuse. ( This is similar to what I have: https://www.amazon.com/INSMA-wireles...s=remote+relay)
That fuse was easy to access in the panel in the front of the passenger foot well. Would flip the toggle switch when I wanted the NPP valves to stay open. Had to close them when cruising or there was an unacceptable drone. Therefore just pulling the fuse was not a viable option!

In the C7 that fuse is in the fuse panel in the engine compartment. There are long Forum Threads about the rather complicated method of how to modify a remote relay to have it work to do something similar but it's NOT as simple as just paralleling the fuse. (For example not simple to find the needed 12 volt positive and negative power in the fuse panel!) The treads that discuss doing this show how to modify the remote relay PC board, prepare a place to insert it in the fuse panel, locate a ground etc.

Assuming the RPI system works, they have provided the extra wires and connection advice and define a mounting location where the remote relay fits.

The Mild2Wild gives you the control to quickly change from open mufflers to back to stock mufflers. There be situations were you want to hear a loud exhaust system, for example a car cruise or show to impress your friends and there maybe situation where you want the exhaust to be quiet like driving by some police officers or when you take your Corvette to church on Sundays. In situations like this are you going to pull over and either pull out or put the fuse back in?? when all you need to do is push a button. Let me put it to you this way remember those days when you wanted to open your garage door you had to get out and manually open the door, then they came out with the remote control garage door opener and pulling your car into the garage has been so much easier now!!

Bi-mode is code for NPP, correct? I'd like to flip the switch from the visor like I did on my C6.

HI Elmer, I also responded to your other post as well. They are two different names for the same thing. If you car is equipped with it the exhaust tone can change whether the car or you determine it. It has been around for a long time, The earliest I have known about it was in 1970 there was an option for it on the Pontiac GTO. What we are offering here is a different way other than the factory way for you to control the exhaust sound on your C7 Corvette. By a push of a button you can have the exhaust system loud all the time and with a push of the button it will go back to stock operation.

Does the remote relay mount inside or outside the front fuse panel?
