Front end looks fantastic in real life. My favorite part of the car. One of the best front end of any Corvette.

Just for accuracy, it's called a Large Mouth Bass . . . .

I like the throw back to the earlier 50/60's cars without being completely retro.

Judging by this photo, it appears that if you get the grill with the license plate holder you won't have the chrome plating on the retainer - or is that just due to the lighing in this photo? Looks much better without the chrome.

I just saw the C7 Saturday for the first time.
They brought it to the A local Corvette Club show here in Minnesota.
The front looks Good but I would loose the chrome bar if I had one or paint it black.
The car looks smaller in person IMO.
The interior they had was a light base ball mit color with lots of stiching.
Looked very upscale.
The paint was awsome ( I think it was the blue) but it was in a ball room not outside so the color shifted.
I like all corvettes and most sports cars.
Gm did a great job, they took it to the next level.
I walked thru the car show and looked at the rest of the Corvettes on display and I think it fits in great.
It still looks like a Corvette to me
I got into my C4 that I parked outside of the car show and had a fun drive home.

I was on the fence about this car until I saw it in person. It doesn't photograph well. It looks pretty darn cool in the flesh...

Actually it is a Black Bass and I think the front end looks great; the rear is another matter. I am shore it will grow on me. We still need a model with less that 6LBS/HP to get into Z range though.

The front looks awesome. In fact, the whole car looks awesome - until you get to the rear bumper.

There is something wrong even in person. It's got those two protrusions sticking out in front which are too high off the ground. A 50s Cadillac bumper with real ***** would have been better.
The door sill has grown from the C6. It looked silly on the C6 and even worse on the C7.
The back is really awful. It looks like a Disney world mono rail train that has been derailed and badly damaged.
What's with all those busy lines all over the car?
The black plastic grilles look really cheap all over the place.
The whole car looks a little too long also. It C6 already had a long wheel base now it is more than 2" longer.
Like the C6, the cockpit is too large for a sports car. The most perfect cockpits are McLaren F1, Honda NSX and a Lotus Elise. Loved C2, C3 and C4 inside especially from 90 on. A modern Version of a C2 dual cockpit interior needs to come back. C7 is a splendid effort by the engineers and the designers. Perhaps they were looking toward China instead of Europe. I'm all for making money if it sells better. Corvette should never deviate too far from the 59 Stingray or the Mako Shark II. There is nothing more beautiful than a shark in this world, except maybe a P51 or Ursula Andress.

I have, and still does not look as it should. The tail lamps themselves look WAY better in person...cool and 3D. It's the black sorround bezel, indentation around that, and the lower half that is just...wrong. This is all cosmetic, so it can be pretty easily corrected.

Videos are often shot to low which gives a weird viewpoint. The front end is stunning ..IMO

Just like the tail light and mascara vent controversy GM can't and never will design a front end to please everyone. I think they did an outstanding job on the car as a whole and plan on a C7 in the 2nd or 3rd year model run.

I love those low shots of the front...shows off the power bulge and the fender sweep. Just looks awesome from that angle. Lots of room under there for a blower...

Yes, definitely more 'sexy' than 'big mouth bass' in my opinion.
I may not 'love' the tail end/tail lights (I don't hate them either though) but I do LOVE the appearance of the rest (front end and profile) of the car.

nope, that's a cat fish. but yes, it's still a sexy one

like to see some other grill designs minus the retainer (god I hated that thing).

similarities to the 599 ferrari are a good thing.

the "ferrarmo" design is growing on me, but I'm not "in love" with it yet, but then again I'm a very harsh styling critic and wasn't in love with the C4 ZR-1 or C5 styling either, but overall they are still pretty darn cool cars and the performance is fantastic.

I modded my c5 with a "tiger shark" front and a specter werkes back end because I really liked the styling improvements.

for those of you unhappy with the c7 styling, wait a tick, the aftermarket will provide plenty of options to customize and personalize the car.

overall the engineering is pretty darn solid and the base care is a screaming bargain.
