heated/ac seats
In looking around at various threads, and order codes, I don't seem to see heated seats. Did they do away with that? Are they going to have AC seats? I know lots of you will blast such baby comforts and the hit on performance. But for me it has enough performance but I want all the baby creature comforts. The more the better. My 08 is a Z51, MN6 LT4, NPP so it has all the ones available, but if I upgrade, I want things like AC seats and remote start. I've gotten spoiled with them on the Avalanche. May even go with auto to get remote start.

Melting Slicks
Code KQV Seats, heated and vented driver and passenger, included in 2LT and 3LT, not available in 1LT.
Note they are ventilated, not air conditioned.

Well what the hell does vented mean. Leather seats need cooled, not just vented. I guess I'll wait for future year upgrades.

Ventilated seats are just that, Ventilated!
IMHO They don't do much good.
Cooled seats are well worth the money. Too bad the Vette isn't going to have cooled seats, probably because they wanted to save money and weight.

As has been stated in multiple previous threads, there are fans in the seat which draw air through the seat surface, exhausting the air beneath the seat. Many other makes and models do this. My Mercedes does this and it is extremely effective. Having "air-conditioning" in the seats would add a lot of weight for additional cooling coils, fans and tubing. It's just not necessary or practical.
