Default Interior comfort

What I want to know and can't seem to find in any of the posts is can a person 6'6" comfortably drive one without your knees being alongside the steering wheel?

There have been a few who have commented that a 6'4" person was comfortable. don't know about 6'6". My guess would be, probably not.

Can you fit comfortably in a C6? If yes, then the C7 should be OK too. Interior dimensions are almost identical.

Interior Room C7 vs C6:
C7 inches (mm):
Head room, front 37.90 (963)
Shoulder room, front 55.20 (1402)
Hip room, front 53.70 (1364)
Leg room, front 43.00 (1092)

C6 inches (mm):
Head room, front 37.70 (958)
Shoulder room, front 55.20 (1402)
Hip room, front 53.70 (1364)
Leg room, front 43.10 (1095)

Unfortunately, that is going to be difficult for any of us to answer. I've seen tall and large frame folks say both that they felt comfortable and others say that they felt cramped.

At 5'8", I'm sure not going to be a good basis for comparison.

Body style and proportions seem to make all the difference in the world. Proportion of height from the waist up and waist down matters with this car. I'm afraid that the only person who will be able to make that determination will be you, sitting in the car.

Do you live near where a Stingray will be making an appearance?

Default C7 interior

I am 6'6" and I happened along a C7 parked at a restaurant in my hometown about two weeks ago. The car was unlocked so I got in both the drivers seat and the passenger seat. While the seat was more form fitting the leg and shoulder room seemed about the same as my C6. It had the GT seats with a 3LT Kalahari interior.

You see this thread? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...-to-spare.html If so,then you know it's even $ on whether those of us who are 6'6" tall will be able to fit comfortably in the C7. And we are all different in leg-length and sitting height. I'm betting we will fit, just as we did in the C6, if for no other reason than the specs are the same, and there's nothing in the reveal that indicates the basic dimensions of the "cage"/frame was either increased or decreased, and that would include the location of the seats. Now, that said, it's possible that the new seat design, or its configuration (bolsters), has changed just enough that we won't fit or fit comfortably, and the "specs guy" failed to verify the leg and headroom before the specs were published. Again, I doubt it. That and the fact that at least two 6'6" guys have said it fits. Keep a good thought.

Two thoughts: Thanks for taking the initiative; and boy, are you courageous.

Talk about a complete lack of respect of other people's things.

You should pray to the Lord the next time you feel comfortable with disrespecting a complete stranger and get into their car without their permission, they don't come out shooting first and asking questions later.

The car had a CTF sticker in the back window
(Captured Test Fleet). Couldn't tell by looking in the restaurant
who was driving it and didn't wait for them to leave. I was very much surprised to see that it was unlocked.

I doubt it... but it depends on how you define comfort....

Wait a few months and see for yourself.

It can't get any lower class than that. Now I understand why some people think Corvette owners are douches .
