72 here. Went from a 05 vert to a 14 vert, 3lt and m7. The wife drives it as much as I do and we just went over 23k miles. Weather isn't to bad yet in the Chicago area so it's still on the street. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Tom

64 a few days ago. Thank you.
I like the C6 AND C7 body styles. A member of the forum suggest I buy a C6 at great discount, drive it a few years, then step up to C7.
I figure at my age I better get the C7 now. With some luck, it should be in my hands within a week or so...
Good luck to you and your purchase...

I got my C7 in April 2014, it is my 6th Corvette, and I also still have my Yellow, 1965 365HP roadster.
Also owned a 1970, a 1975, and a 2003.
Good luck with your quest.

Young enough to be retired, old enough to be enjoying the fruits of my labor, enjoying life in general. Loving the new 1st Corvette ever. Bottom line, "Life is Good".
Financial freedom is hard to find for many in the later years of life. Prepare at a young age for the future.

I bought my first Vette in '74. It was a 72 T-top with a 350 4 Speed. I was 23 at that time. I later got an 81. I went several years without a Vette, you know, family, houses, that kind of thing, then this year I got a C7 Stingray coupe. My wife must have thought I was being sort of hoggish with the C7, so she found a C6 Vert to buy. Two Vette Family at this time. O Yeah, I am 64 now.

I'm 73 and have had three Corvettes - a C4, C5 and a C6. I first wanted one in 1965 but the C2 did not have enough leg room for me. The C4 was the first one that fit me. I have not yet committed to a C7.
