I'm 44yrs old. Bought my first vette when I was 18yrs old. When I bought my 15 z06 a lot of people I see would ask if i was having a mid life crisis. I guess I have been having a mid life crisis since I was 18. Going to spring mountain this Monday and Tuesday. Can't wait.

19 Years old! Bought my first Corvette at 16, a 2000 base C5. Bought my second Corvette, a 2002 Z51 C5 at 18, still have it! Insurance was actually cheaper than my old Hyundai Tiburon.

RHUE - Don't sweat it. Unless they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, or living with mom and dad, parents picking up their insurance, etc, or they are sacrificing other things, most 28 year old's are neck deep creating a family life (mortgage, kids, etc), and can't afford a C7.

66 and NEVER would have dreamed we'd be a 100% GM family. Cadillac CTS, Silverado Duramax, and a vette. Un-be-liev-a-ble!!

This is a great thread to come back to, to scroll and read the stories, ages, and the ones with pictures, of course.

What a dapper young man. And now we know you don't look anything like your avatar unless, of course, you (cough) changed sides.
