Did they do any driving on public roads, or was this all track testing (lap times, 0-60, braking, etc)?

They did both Notch. The consensus was that the C7 has upped their game in a huge way.

911 is the recent sports car of choice by motor trend (without a corvette in the test) so the corvettes rumored favor is impressive indeed.
The f12 is off the chart cool.

The test was 911 vs C7 though. Like every other mag, that will be the test that most people will respond to.

After this article comes out I wonder if this would sway any potential Porsche buyers to consider a C7?

Both the 911s and the c7 are awesome. I prefer the c7 as many on this forum would.

We did discuss this. It will certainly be a one way street towards the C7 and not the other way around.

Well, I guess that's it then...Porsche (and maybe all the other sports car manufacturers) should simply stop production.

Which is why I said something about the track! But its is a bench mark for judgement. But I know a sports car should be more luxury than performance huh?

This sounds good, did they mention anything about the next level for the C7?

I don't think we have to hear "For the price" in the comparative context again. It's a car that can hold it's own on it's price level and higher.

Will that be in the review too? lol. Im thinking it has to be an FI car unless they are going to keep the three versions for the vette.

That's not like saying..."it will certainly be a one way street towards the C7 and not the other way around".

If you want 0-60, a corvette is not your best option. The corvette excels because it does everything well, even though it isn't necessarily as fast in some areas as the competition. It is an overall package.

The fact that they were testing a 130K car vs a 70K car says it all !!!!

When they mentioned this did they get that involuntary "And you are not gonna believe what it will be" grin on their faces?
