Default I'm sure nobody asked Tadge this one...

Just curious...and I'm sure this is way too ridiculous an idea but could we buy new base C7 seats and have them fit into the existing C6 Corvettes? And if we could, would they still plug into the existing electrical system and have all heat/bags/etc work??

Those competition seats would look great in a C6.

Someone previously stated that even if the seats would fit, the C6 and C7 electronics communication within the car are different. Therefore, none of the bags/heat/movements, could easily be made to work.

Just repeating, no personal info.

Either seat would look great in one and probably sit way better too. I'm not really interested in the Competition seats as I'm sure they are too stiff for my old body.

Call Caravaggio. He makes a better looking seat.

Looks like the bottom is the same as the 6, perhaps the top seat back could be changed in total. The bottom, the cushion and skin.

Really? Less expensive? I wanted the better C7 seat.

Go to the junkyard and find a 2004-2006 GTO. Best bucket seats ever put in a GM car until the C7. I'm sure they fit, but no side airbag.

Epic World changing cutting edge into an "obsolete" klunker? Have you gone mad?

It's a good thing no one asked him that, because neither he nor any of the other engineers there would have answered it. The liability in even discussing that question with customers would be massive, and open them all up to getting sued into oblivion should something bad happen.

Just put a nice Corbeau in your C6 and maybe have it skinned with the leather or fabric & color of your choice.
