GM card 'round ups'...what's been your experience?
I'm over 1000 points now, but not sure what to expect for the next round up. I know some of you have had some very nice increases in points. When I was under 1000 last year it went to 1000, but of course I wasn't ready to use them. Does it leap by 1000's or 500's or ?

My experience is that they usually offer "bonus" credits in $500.00 increments. I just yesterday got an offer of a $1500.00 bonus................................... ............. good only towards any new Chevy truck....................

GM will assign the max amount you can use toward purchase of their product. I think the 2013 Corvette has $3,000 limit. In my state the credit is deducted from the sticker price and you only pay sales tax on the remaining amount. I have not heard what amount can be applied to the 2014 Corvette. When I purchased my C6 I could only apply $1,000 towards the purchase price.

yes, I got that one too...got me to thinking if I should keep using the GM card or switch off to one of my 'cash rebate' cards now. I would be happy to see a bump up to $2000 next summer to use on a C7.

I've got the old card and so am limited to $500/yr max credits and $3500 max total, but no limits on the amount that can be applied to any GM car up to my max credits earned. So, I just max out at the $500/yr and then switch to a cash rebate card for the balance of that year.
