Default Not a happy c7 owner right now!!

Just had my appointment with my(team) nuero surgeon. First words out of his mouth walking into the room with my wife and I were "YOUR BACK IS REALLY MESSED UP!". 2 disc need repair up top and 3 on the bottom! I've been stuck at 3000 since early July and with nothing in sight, I'll probably get to start enjoying my NEW 2014 C-7 about when the 2015 start coming out!

That's a supreme bummer. Must have been all the stress waiting on the new C7! Seriously I hope you get better soon and can get out and enjoy your new ride!

Not blaming GM at all. Just not lucky I guess. In fact, where do you see that I blamed them? I'd gladly take it out!!!

Cheer up and you will get to enjoy that C7. I had C3,4,5,6 all fused in my neck two years ago. I was up and about in 3 days and driving again in 2-3 weeks. This was major open surgery with screws, plates, rods the whole nine yards. I also happen to have one of the best neurosurgeons in the country ( ranked # 9 ) and he is also the chief neurosurgeon of the N.Y. FOOTBALL GIANTS. DR Roger Hartl. Don't worry you'll be fine. Hope you got a real good doc. Good luck!

Which discs need repairs? I was out of work for 4-1/2 years, had 6 operations on my L3,L4,L5 and S1 and S2. L4 and L5 were the bad ones, that's where all the nerves for you legs pretty much run through. I probably could have been back sooner if the insurance and lawyers weren't such screw ups.

My guy is the head guy for The Oakland Raiders. I had L4-5-S1 done back in 1990. Too many jumps out of a 119 or just getting old

That sounds bad? Can ask...did something happen to cause that much damage?

Do they foresee any issues with the low riding car and back surgery?

Stingray
little tougher to get in and out but NO PROBLEM DRIVING
Sold my 2011 GS back when the 2014 was ordered. Craigs list thinking 3-4 months to sell and it went in 2 WEEKS
Just a lot of body abuse when I was young, lots of high school sports with injuries, going 82nd Airbourne in 1967. I have had 6 Corvettes starting with a NEW 1965 and each getting a little harder to get in !

Probably not as I do have 2 Super Bowl Champion rings 1976 and 1980. Didn't go to LA so I didn't get 1983. Won't ask how many you have as we all know the answer

My surgery was done 21yrs after yours. Technology and procedure have gotten a lot better. I feel great.

haha, I can understand that. I am not even 30 yet and sometimes I misjudge the amount of momentum I created to get out of my 1980.

Thank you for your service!

Be thankful you have such problems as maybe not being able to enjoy your new C7 right away - most people would love to have such situations in life
