Backup Camera stays dim 2015 Z51 Coupe
Backup camera stays dim all the time (doesn't adjust to day and night conditions as it used to). Any recommendations on fix?

Id start by looking at the ambient light sensor on the dash. Do the headlights stay on in the daylight?

It senses ambient light and can dim the lights inside and also does a temperature measurement on the sunlight to help set and control fan speeds for heat/AC. Page 10-150 of the Helms.

Do the dash lights go full brightness in daylight or do they remain dim as well?
The dash sensor may be at fault if both the camera and dash lights don't brighten when the sensor is exposed to daylight. If the sensor is bad there may be a code but you will need a scan tool like a GM MDI2 to read the code as OBD2 scanners can't read body codes.
