Hey Those are the ones I was trying to take a picture of this past Sunday at Bondurant

I assume it will be a press release on GM's media site but I don't know that for sure.

I still have to think that shipping will coincide with the start of Museum Delivery, Sept. 30 if I recall. Cars to arrive at dealers around that date.

Are we talking about shipping to dealerships, or are we talking about "shipping of any 2014s"? If it is the latter, I walked up and looked in the two 2014s sitting as "sentinals" at the entrance of a Spring Mountain office complex where there was a sign reading "Corvette Sales and School", or something like that. I then drove past a blue car (base car, I assume, because the rotors looked wimpy) and I noted a couple of 2014s by the fuel pits. Then, of course, there were the 2014s on the track in a slow moving daisy chain -- break in??? I guess I should have taken pictures, but I didn't realize that a shipping date was that big of a deal.

We'll get our cars when they are ready. Get a life people.

We know that you do not take I-75 south to go to coloumbus so we know its not for his dealer or his car show this Saturday... Then we got word shipping doesn't start til the 18th... I believe if I had to bet money that those are infact customer ordered cars... What do you guys think and before you say anything look at the facts in this case...
There's no way those are customers cars. GM would have already announced it by now. Rick hasn't responded as to what those are for. He IS having a event this weekend where C7's will be present according to his post but they are probably on loan from GM.

Wish they were customer cars but I'm sure they are not.

I predict Sept. 20, seriously. Don't ask me how I know. Just bookmark this post so you can quote it accurately.

It is very deceiving then because he says 2014 stingrays have started shipping on his website and I don't know why he would try and deceive his customers... What is to gain from that?

I can't speak for him, but it may be understandable. My dealer showed me his computer screen showing 2 C7's in stock at his dealership when, in fact, they hadn't even been invoiced or built for sure a couple of weeks ago. He simply shrugged his shoulders and said "Go figure".

No offense but historically GM has never started shipping on Friday... It is usually Wednesday or Thursday but then again your guess is good as anyones

He still hasn't explained what that means.

It still says more details tomorrow...

Just think about this- they have a bunch of cars in the lot, destined for locations all over the place. They have to make up a truck that has some geographic rhyme or reason as to where it' s going. That in itself is a whole 'nother thing.

Absolutely when they ship GM will announce it. They haven't missed yet on anything they have said for publication. We just wish they would be telling us more.

You have no one going to the session next week? (Which, BTW, is why all those cars are at Spring Mountain.). Ken Fichtner said he will be there Mon-Tue next week. And he states shipping should start Wed, Sep 18th.
