That training has been going on since mid August and will continue until October or November I think. We've had guys there and I think we have some going this week as well but I'm not positive.

Talked with the shipping company today and was told they are putting the covers on 800 cars and working overtime. Sounds like sept 18 is good to go.

We were at the back of the factory Wed the 11th and could just see what appeared to be at least two lineups of cars with covers also a couple transports had cars loaded. Thu 12th talked to the lady at NCM who interfaces with the factory and she stated no cars have shipped, but would start next week. So the 18th sounds like it's in the ball park.

Why would the trucking company put on the covers? When I have shipped cars they just take what you give them as is.

Sorry Dave, I should have been more clear. My salesman is there now, and will be leaving on Tuesday.

The car covers are new this year, probably because they will start shipping by rail in a few months.

My dealer in Toronto Canada is avertising that he will have a C7 for showing on Sept 19 from 12 PM to 9 PM (2014 Corvette "Premiere" Event) and is inviting all customers for this viewing. If that is the case than shipping may have all ready started.

Somebody spotted a truckload of C7s crossing the Ambassador Bridge into Canada so this seems credible.
