That new high tech looking dash is going to look very old very soon. I think there will be a gradual return to *****, standard gages, etc as the digital fad wears off. Its funny how what is old and considered obsolete comes back for a second time.

b4i4getit is mostly right . This is the 2nd time around for the hi-tech dash. I have noticed that several other car companies are going back to "old school" gauges, and I would guess this is because, for the most part they are easier on the eyes(read). And there is something cool about the simplicity of a Cobra dash. Still love the C7, though, and it does make our C6's look dated, but no less fun.

1800 ? You sound proud that you don't have a life old man. Seeing that you own a c6, i would consider you "trolling" on the c7 forum. and are obviously glued to all the posts here. Its not my fault your cars value has dropped tremendously since production of the c7. Its obvious your taking it very personal either from financial loss or complete jealousy of the newer, better sting ray

Personally, I love 'em both. If I had the means to do so, I'd order a Stingray and keep my 2005 coupe.

Lol are you joking? You know that some people here in this forum own C6 variants and plan on adding a C7 to the stable...keeping them both. I don't understand how one must put down another model corvette...does it validate your decision or something?

Isn't appearance the pinnacle of subjectivity? Red2012 is correct, give it a rest! Seems like someone may be enjoying their photography too much, and aliens did not kill the dinosaurs!

"I'm shocked over how much the interior of the c7 makes the older vette's look so plain". Why not compare the C7 interior to a late C4 interior. You will be "shocked" by the similarity.

Get use to it. This is the C7 section afterall. Not the C6 section.

One characteristic of the C7 that I don't care for are the creases that begin on the nose and go up the hood. One in the center, I could live with, but the other two on either side of center, I don't care for - subdividing the hood into 4 sections. That, to me, is dated. it reminds me of an old Chrysler Crossfire from 10 years ago...which I hated way back then... On the C7 they bother me more than the taillights, which are actually growing on me... The C6 nose and hood are relatively smooth and, to me, more tasteful and classier. Everyone has their own taste...

I like Corvettes.

A 7 will join one of my 6s in the stable, not replace it.

I have 1800 posts and I am small potatoes on this forum. Many members have thousands upon thousands of posts so what does that make them? Corvette enthusiasts thats what. Second you NOTHING ABOUT ME or my car, you don't know what it's worth or what I paid for it. Third I bought my '13 GS when they were already taking deposits on the C7 so I could have bought EITHER ONE OR BOTH! I chose the C6 because I like it better. Jealousy? Far from it my friend.
