I believe GM will be selling them as an accessory as well.

Because after you have spent any time on the forum, this is a sight that you never want to see in your own driveway.

I spent 32 years in law enforcement and just retired last November. HELL YES put locks on your wheels.

^^^^^^I have traveled for a living for 35 years...Since 1980, 4 times I have walked out of holiday and Ramada type properties to see a car up on blocks....I've got two hotels to hit to get my car home, these slow them down a bit...not theftproof, just a deterrent for meth heads...

In that case, might be a good reason to consider the 20 lock set? Maybe?

Hmm, I read it as 16 lug nuts and 4 locks. Maybe I misread.

Something is a bit strange with the product in that Amazon link. It says it's Gorilla 71733, the package in the photo says 71783. 71783 is 1/2 x 20 vs 12 x 1.5. Which is it they're selling?

I think 71633 and 71733 are the same except 71633 lists only 13/16" wrench size and not 19mm.

Any acorn/conical wheel lock in a 12x1.5 will work just fine.

Gorilla does sell a kit that will replace all the lugnuts with locks. I will say, that we remove these every day for people that have lost or broken the wheel lock key. If a thief has enough time, they'll still be able to get your wheels. But locks will certainly slow them down.

I might add that most of the holiday Inn express and other main chains will find you a spot that is illuminated or always watched if you ask. I was part of event staff that toured a BMW X6 and the M5 6 months before they were available. We always would ask and got to park underneath the entrance awning/portal with no problem 95% of the time...just ask...

Do they make black ones for those of us that ordered black wheels/ I would think it would look very tacky to have black wheels/rims and 5 bright nuts..

2LT and 3LT have tilt sensors. Alarm will go off if the car tilted to steal the wheels, or tow. However, buy the wheel locks. I have the Gorilla Automotive wheel locks on all my cars, including the C6.

I looked on Amazon at part # 71633NBC and at part #21133BC, but their size calculator says that it will not fit my car... 2014 or 2013 Chevy Corvette
