I am a fellow Colorado Vetter. I was on the list from Purifoy Chev. at number 138 on an initial allocation of 29. I finally ordered from MacMulkin and Tommy Jr. has been great. He says he still has allocations at under MSRP. Purifoy has agreed to a courtesy delivery, so I am a happy camper.
So I email a forum vendor twice, Corvette Conti, and he does not even respond to the emails. I'm sure they are busy, but no response really leaves a bad first impression.
How much time did you give him? I always allow at least 24 hours on an email (it's not instant messaging). Also I am sure he is slammed with a new model introduction, everyone bugging him about when they will get their car, and now trying to process deliveries.
Was he responsive? I've emailed 2 forum dealers and have received no response from either one of them.

I contacted him several times since the post and we are crazy busy with cars arriving and status updates everyday...doing all I can...he has not repsonded...again, I tell people not to make this personal....you go to your local dealership and deal with some kid....this is much different for me...
I have to pop back off...but thank-you for those that understand....
My statement on my site recently too;
"Now that Stingray begins the actual delivery process; first say thank-you to EVERYONE THAT HAS AN ORDER WITH US, (OR IS ABOUT TO ORDER) WITH US…your flexibility to do business in advance has meant so much. This is truly a special time in your lives and for Corvette, we are moving forward into a new era; I’m glad & proud to be a part of it!
I also want to thank-you all for understanding the incredible pressures we have had in trying to provide the answers to the questions you have asked of us and you deserve to know. I personally have been incredibly busy, still am and if I have missed someone, believe me it is not on purpose and I apologize….I hope and try to reach everyone as quickly as I can to do business on this amazing new car.
For those of you in the cue or about to be built or already built ..YOUR DAY IS COMING SOON - Congratulations to you and all I thank-you for your incredible support. Rick Corvette Conti"
When I originally posted this, I was pretty aggravated at the arrogant snot-nosed kid at the dealership in Grand Junction who laughed at me when I asked about MSRP. He acted almost proud that they were selling for $25,000 over.
Rockies, make sure you remember him, then return with your C7, show him the deal you got (which you will get from from one of the forum guys) and see what he says, I have done this before, maybe a little childish....but hey, he started it.....
I sent an email also. I can give you a call if that would be better.
