AutoNation in Greenacres is the dealer - I ordered my car there. They are stand up people. MSRP and that is it. They could have made a fortune on this, but did the right thing. I stopped in to see it this morning and they said they could not get a hold of the guy who bought it. He apparently changed his mind for one reason or another. Car is even more stunning in person. Too bad it was a 1LT.

I was impressed with the 1lt. Can't wait for my 2lt to get here.

I saw a 1LT at Kerbeck today and the interior looked great.
IMO, even the 1LT interior in a C7 looks far better than any of the interior levels in the C6's, which is a tremendous upgrade for the car.

Why not just post the dealer contact? Don't need a middle man
Unless there is something in it for you.

Talked with dealer. Car is manual and kills the deal. However I am still awaiting our other order of vettes which are 4300 status. Hopefully they come in next week. We have a waiting list of renters ready to go.

The "buyer" doesn't even have the courtesy to call a few days in advance (to say I'm not buying the car), or take the call from the dealer on the day "his car" arrives.... Talk about a low class person. And then we sometimes wonder why dealers treat potential buyers with some contempt, even for a "$60K-$70K car."

I wish GM would take a page out of Katech's book when it comes to dressing up the engine bay. Looking forward to seeing a few on the road soon.

Low class is exactly how to put it. This is my dealership and they have been nothing but stand up from minute one. I can assure you as soon as they knew the car was on the way BOTH the salesperson AND the inventory manager who is a stand up guy reached out to this buyer. They only took a $500 deposit, which to this potential buyer was clearly nothing. This is also perhaps why some dealers want larger deposits. Fortunately, it is a HOT car that they sold in 20 seconds, but that may not always be the case. When I went to look at it yesterday (to chat about mine) there were no fewer than 10 people that came by to see it in the 20 minutes I was there.

Wow that's some story for sure. But I think if those wheels were silver that grey hair buyer would not back out. So don't sell to black wheel buyers LOL.

You sold it for MSRP and in my book you are a STAND UP guy !!!

There are some dealers that would have put that on the floor and stuck a ADM of $5K to $10K and think nothing about it. Watch Ebay over the next 6 months.
