Maybe she's the boss's daughter and it really is her car. His assignment was to pick-up the car and deliver it to her - his bonus was the kiss, unless he actually dates her and he was embarrassed to kiss on camera for the boss to see; hence, the awkward moment.

Crappy advertising job. How the heck did the OP keep the seatbelt chime from going off ? My C6 goes nuts if I don't have the seatbelt on.

I am trying to do just quite the opposite, lets see what happens on my birthday 10 years from now. Congrats man, a beautiful ride for a beautiful lady. Awesome gesture.

I noticed two things from this video.
1) She knew already, she didn't seem surprised.
2) Girls don't appreciate cars as gifts.
If he was trying to impress her, a puppy would of worked a lot better!

Haha...I love all you guys....every single one of you
Yes, she knew the car was ordered. We sat down and selected all the options for the build, together. It is "ours", but it's her DD, so saying it's a gift to her didn't seem unreasonable, no?
During the entire pre-production period, I never alluded to build code updates or how close we were getting to taking delivery, so she was totally surprised that it showed up sooner than I had led her to believe.
Vid may have been a bit corny, but who's to say anyone else's experience of taking delivery of their C7 was any less legit?

^ If it's a gift to her, your claim, then the title is in her name, right??

That's actually not true - one my daughters would; but this particular daughter of mine knows the C7 inside and out and is into cars. This GF is more like my other daughter, would have been happier with an automatic convertible BMW Z4, or a used Saturn Sky for that matter.
