Default Sound System

Which makes the best sound in the new c7, sd card or mp3 player?

I'll do a test later to confirm, but there should be no discernible difference at all. They are just memory devices for delivering 1's and 0's to the sound processor. Nothing happens at the interface of the memory device and the jack.

CD would be best. SD card or any other mp3 type format will be identical but inferior.

Wait a minute... Maybe I misunderstood your question. Did you mean the difference between an SD card and an MP3 memory stick? That's what I answered.

If you meant plugging in an external player such as an iPod, that's an entirely different kettle of fish and unanswerable as a generic question. Each player is going to have its own sound characteristics and you can't really separate what attributes are coming from your player and what comes from the car stereo interface.

Sorry if I answered the wrong thing.

Use an iPod plugged into the USB input, and rip your CD's with Apple lossless (AIFF). Best sound on wheels. Anyone using an iPod loaded with only MP3 downloads just doesn't understand how good this little wonder can sound.

You said it better than I could. I bought a brand new iPod just for LoLa and the music is 1st rate. But I have an issue. I'm spending so much time listening to the 4 Trumpets I'm not listening to the hours and hours of music on my iPod . NPP TRUMPS iPod .
