The vid just didn't seem right. She wasn't excited about the Vette (a 70K plus gift????), asked him if he liked it (?), and her affection seemed scripted.

It was difficult to watch.

Right on. First I would have asked why there was a guy with a video camera and after that I would have been drooling on the car. Then I would ask him why he gave it to me. What do you expect in return?

Damn...that whole thing seems really phoney. The kiss reminded me of the Michael Jackson/Lisa Marie kiss. Total BS.

They couldn't even hug right and it just seemed super awkward.

I hope this is not serious. No guy in his right mind would buy a GIRLFRIEND a 70k dollar car as a gift. A bracelet, sure. Not a $70k car. That's being a white knight to the highest level.

Lol at her phony reaction when first seeing it. "Cool. It's awesome."

Cringeeeeee

Ah, but my guy did! For my 50th birthday! Have to admit though he is my husband and he has right of survivor-ship. LOL!

Hate to tell you guys this. There is a whole nother world out there that is way different than ours. In some places the cost of a new c7 is chump change and I can tell you this, if one of those guys ever bought their girl a c7 it would never be posted on this forum. The OP is not one of those guys!

Yeah she's defiantly got a stick up her butt if that's her real reaction LOL! IDK, if my wife brought that to me id be going crazy but she's totally disconnected from the whole surprise. Pretty car, but fake video.

Yeah, I just checked. Your posts started 9-24-13. Not sure what your angle is, but it smells rotten to me.

Even at minimum wage I'd have more money than brains, but that was weird. Oh well, at least the OP and the car have matching grilles.
