VIN 00022 is home and the joy and excitement are back
Went to Rosner Chevy in Melbourne, FL today, 165 miles each way to get my C7. The ride up in the 2012 2SS Camaro vert was enjoyable. The ride home in the C7 was amazing. Z51, Auto, NPP, Mag Ride, 3LT, black wheels and red calipers
1. The body style is killer
2. The interior is heads about the C4, C5 and C6 I've had
3. The HUD is clear and crisp. The color version is easy to read and can be adjusted by the driver
4. The infotainment system is easy to read and easy to adapt to. Having the touch screen is really neat.
5. The seats are firm yet comfortable
6. The ride selection, Wet to Track, is easily changed and the car is responsive to each selection. BTW, the HUD can be integrated with ride selection.
7. The exhaust is really tunable. Rode home most of the way in Sport mode, nice sound, flipped to Track and the sound really rumbled.
8. The LT1 engine is very responsible to the gas pedal.
9. The cargo space is really big, no trouble getting the golf clubs in back there.
10. Seeing out the rear window is not an issue. I traded in my 2012 Camero Vert, not seeing out that back window was an issue.
11. The car handles like a dream, very responsive to the turn of the steering wheel.
12. Brakes work!
After owning Corvettes for 20 years, I can honestly say GM really out did themselves on the C7. Those of us lucky enough to be driving them and those still waiting are in for continuing treats.
BTW, if you click on the picture you will see other pictures that we took.

Thanks to GM'er, Kelly J and all on the CF who have encouraged and supported me while I waited most impatiently for this day to arrive.

I have pictures but do not know how to upload them to the CF. If anyone wants to upload them for me, please PM me. Or, if someone can PM me simple, step by step instructions, I will try my best to put them up.

Congrats! Love it! (But I'd get rid of that front piece of chrome if it was mine...haha!)

Dan, or BIG DAN, as they call him is at least 6'6" and has to weigh at least 250. He's as gentle as he is big. He did get into the passenger's seat, with a bit of a struggle, but made it and was comfortable as he went thru the "how to do this and how to do that" routine.
