Is there any difference between the black interior or a 1lt and a 3lt (or the 2lt for that matter)? It doesn't seem like there really is, but otherwise it's kind of like spending $4k for more than a 2lt and only getting Nav. If there is a difference, does any one have pictures comparing the two?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find any posts on it and I have a chance to get a black interior 3lt and I'm trying to figure out if I'll be getting anything for all that extra cash.

All I can say is WOW! Black 3lt is a complete scam. Honestly this is almost bordering fraud. I can't believe they'd do this on a flagship product like this. Buyer beware I guess. I'm glad I asked!!

The only way 3LT is worth the money is if you get something other than black. I see a number of people getting 1LT and 2LT and those packages will be the volume leader. Lets just be glad that GM does not make 3LT standard and raise the price.

How is it a scam if you're actually getting real leather? The 1LT is all vinyl. Also, the 3LT gets nav, heated and cooled seats and a lot more.

Technically , at first glance the 1lt and 3lt looks the same in black....but they are two different leather one is called Mulan and the 3lt is called Napa...plus the 3lt come with Nav,10 speaker,driver ac control, heated and cooled seat, ect.....is it worth 4000.00???? Your decision....

The difference between 1LT and 3LT is more like $8000. Not even close to worth it with a black interior.

Additional options are extra $$$ makers for car companies. That's why they are offered... Each buyer has to decide if they want it and if it's worth it to them.

I like the 3lt colored dash trim (in red)... But I would not get it in black (looks to close to 1lt).

yes, thanks for pointing that out. I compared the 3lt to the 2lt when I said $4k difference. Besides the nav the only thing you get is Napa leather seats, which isn't worth $3k by a long shot. The difference is negligible at best.

Even with a different color like red it's a scam. Basically $3k for different color leather on the console and dash. That's totally out of line for what your getting. It's pretty hard to argue otherwise.

Yes it is. If you order jet black the diference is hard to tell apart. The heads up display of speed also appears on your center dash guage.So it's only a matter 4 inches up or down from the winshield display. Hey if you order the Z51 option then keep it lean and mean with the 1LT . You can buy a hand held nav for pennies now a days. For a weekend toy who needs nav ? Oh I can't find that cruise 7 miles down the road. Maybe the 70 and over crowd may need it Lol

I have the black 2lt with the nav added. Looks good.... don't waste money on the 3lt.

I saw the 1LT and 3LT interiors at Carlisle. The difference is noticeable. The upgraded/additional leather, especially on the dash and doors, does look higher quality and is comparable to Euro offerings, IMO. The 1LT dash/door trimmings looked thinner and had a different finish. Is it worth the extra money? That's for owners to decide, but the difference is real. That said, it is impressive that the base interior's trim is wrapped in something. It certainly looks better than bare soft touch vinyl.

For years I defended corvette when people would complain that for the money you pay for these cars GM should be able to give you a interior like some of the foreign units. I would always say that the vette also didn't cost what these other units cost and if they did you would have to pay for it. Now when you get the choice to pay for the higher grade interiors if you want it and if you don't you get two other choices your getting ripped off. IMHO even with the upgrades you get a much better ride for a lot less money than those other units.
