California???
Except for a few cities in SoCal, you're not gonna find too many Vettes there. CA has gone too PC and the Vette represents everything that is anti-Green! I do see a lot of Tesla's and Prius's everytime I go there on a business trip. When I get into SoCal, especially the Newport Beach area, I see all the exotics as well as American muscle cars.

Melting Slicks
Added my C7 to the map today.
On 5/1/2016 I bought a 2014 NRB base coupe with Kalahari 3LT interior. 7 speed manual, NPP, solid and clear roofs and black chrome wheels. Only had 2,900 miles.
Traded in a 2009 Cyber Gray coupe, 6 speed manual, black and red interior. Thought I'd never get rid of that car but after I testdrove this C7 the deal was done.

Added my new new '17 Grand Sport to Hawaii -- Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. My car is actually on a cargo ship somewhere between here and California still, but it should be in my garage by the end of the month!!

Shipment to Hawaii
Since I ordered it for delivery to Hawaii, the Destination Cost was the same as to any of the other 49 states -- $995. No extra delivery costs for Hawaii. When I leave here though it'll cost anywhere between $1200 to $3000 to ship it back to the continental US, depending where I want to pick it up (coastal California for $1200, or St Louis, MO for about $2500-$3000). Fortunately the Army will ship my wife's car for us, so I'll only have to pay to ship the Vette.

I thought it might be fun to see where C7s are popping up across the country so I created an online map for Corvette Forum C7 owners to post their location if they so desire.
You have the option of creating a marker right on your home or you can simply mark the city you live in.
The link to the map is Corvette Forum C7 Owners Map
INSTRUCTION FOR ADDING A MARKER TO THE MAP
- On the upper left tabs, select "Add Marker - Simple." An "Add Entry" box will appear.
- Enter information in the "Entry Name" field such as the model year of your C7 (yes, I know it doesn't matter this year, but next year it will), color, trim level, and coupe or convertible. You can also select the color of your marker here, allowing you to make your marker the color of your Corvette.
- Then either enter a specific location (City and State) or zoom to the location that you want to mark on the map.
- If you entered information in the "Location" field, click the "Preview" button to make sure the marker is where you want it. If it is, click the "Submit" button.
- If you zoom to the specific location that you want to mark, click on the "Click on a map location" hyperlink. A "Click on map to select location will appear. Click "OK" and then single click on your location and a marker will appear. Finally, click the "Submit" button to post your marker.
INSTRUCTION FOR EDITING A MARKER
When someone creates a marker on the map, the following dialogue box appears on the screen:
Be sure you copy and save the link. This is the only way for the originator of the marker to return and edit the marker. If this link is not saved, the map administrator is the one that has to edit the marker. (I am the map admin and will gladly do this for anyone as needed as I have time to do so.)
