This...
It has been brought to my attention that ZeeMaps has gone from a free service to a subscription based service. Evidently, the map can only be visited 100 times per month and then becomes "frozen." I'll leave it up, but I'm not going to pay for a monthly subscription. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Melting Slicks
Seems like something that should just be built into the forums, maybe that is something to ask them as a feature request. Would encourage people to fill out their forum profile, then with that info it could just build it. Allow you to filter based on generation of car as I'm guessing each generation might want to see something like this....

"This map is currently frozen." Totally useless like this. If it is not gong to be fully implemented, why leave it here? Ditch it!

Frozen
I thought it might be fun to see where C7s are popping up across the country so I created an online map for Corvette Forum C7 owners to post their location if they so desire.
You have the option of creating a marker right on your home or you can simply mark the city you live in.
The link to the map is Corvette Forum C7 Owners Map
INSTRUCTION FOR ADDING A MARKER TO THE MAP
- On the upper left tabs, select "Add Marker - Simple." An "Add Entry" box will appear.
- Enter information in the "Entry Name" field such as the model year of your C7 (yes, I know it doesn't matter this year, but next year it will), color, trim level, and coupe or convertible. You can also select the color of your marker here, allowing you to make your marker the color of your Corvette.
- Then either enter a specific location (City and State) or zoom to the location that you want to mark on the map.
- If you entered information in the "Location" field, click the "Preview" button to make sure the marker is where you want it. If it is, click the "Submit" button.
- If you zoom to the specific location that you want to mark, click on the "Click on a map location" hyperlink. A "Click on map to select location will appear. Click "OK" and then single click on your location and a marker will appear. Finally, click the "Submit" button to post your marker.
INSTRUCTION FOR EDITING A MARKER
When someone creates a marker on the map, the following dialogue box appears on the screen:
Be sure you copy and save the link. This is the only way for the originator of the marker to return and edit the marker. If this link is not saved, the map administrator is the one that has to edit the marker. (I am the map admin and will gladly do this for anyone as needed as I have time to do so.)

Central Iowa
I'm in the process of buying my first Corvette and it's a C7 Z06 builder. I was wondering if anyone on here is in Central Iowa, the Des Moines area or so and would be willing to show off there car to me for a bit. I have been to the dealership but I want a real owner to show me there car, maybe show me some of there mods and show my why the bought what they bought. I am a car guy and have been my whole life and would love to have some friends in the area that share my love of Corvettes as well. Thanks

Hey Everyone,
I'm happy to report that the map is now accessible again. We've foot the bill to keep it unfrozen, so please feel free to add yourself to the growing list.
Special thanks to @jagamajajaran for helping us set it all up!
