Cruising
Fist C7
upgraded to the new 19/20’s black with cup 2 tires over the worn ZP’s, like the look of both rims, seems like it changes the cars attitude, chrome looks refined ,conservative, gras your eyes first, and wants to keep them the new rims seem to melt into the entire car putting attention in the details of the body, the glimp of red cailipers in the wells adjust your perception to identify this car as “race” wee the chrome set up suggests “show”....
noticeable increase in grip on similar surfaces with the cup 2 tires. Had a hard time keeping the top half of my body straight through a traffic circle lol

Drifting
I posted this pic yesterday in Gen Discuss forum but bears a repeat here. Not sure what they called the color back then but the C4 next to me in the parking lot is very close to LB.
Edit: I see from post #910 above that the C4 is probably Quasar Blue.

Here is my wifes 2016 Z51. Her 2006 was on its last leg with 160,000 miles. This was her birthday present. It was a good deal with only 8,000 miles and mint condition when I picked it up a month ago. I finally just got around to doing a full detail on it for her. She loves the extra power.

Burning Brakes
You are correct. That's a 1990 Quasar Blue Coupe.

I REALLY wish I had a pics of mine rolling off the line. If Bowling Green was smart they would have a link where you could put in your VIN# then select pics of your car as it rolls down the assembly line. They would make a ton of money from those of us who regret not having those pics.

I can't wait for show season to see mine next to a LB one.
And FWIW, I'd argue better as there is no OP in my paint. That new paint shop is quite an improvment
