Default Is anyone writing a book on the development of the C7?

I am thinking specifically of James Schefter's book "All Corvettes are Red," which documented the behind the scenes development of the C5. It remains a fascinating read. I believe a similar book about C7 development would be even more fascinating. Anyone have information about GM letting a writer behind the scenes during C7 development?

Given a few of the things I've heard from Maximum Bob about the C7, he would be a great choice to write such a book. I'd buy it!

Don't know if anyone is, but if so...I'll buy it!!!!

Especially through the forced bail-out, there would be lots of good topics and good reading.

I think most of them are on a QC hold in Nashville. And there is a constraint on the hardbound version. You will have to pay full price right now, but if you wait a few months, you can get a bargain.

Thanks for info on the Edsall book. To my ear the descriptions of the contents sound more like a review of C1 thru C7 history, not a tight focus on the development of the C7. Hmmm. Guess I'll have to see one before spending $40.

I'm kind of in that camp as well. Sounds more like another history of the car that includes information on the C7 at the end. I, too, would be more interested in a C7 specific book.
