Default Batttery Tender Plug in

On my old C6 I was able to plug into the cig lighter and it charged.
I tried on my new C7 and did no tappear to work.
Do you have to plug into the outlet in the rear compartment above the battery?
Any info would be appreciated.

If I recall, the front outlet powers off after 10 minutes, like the audio system. The rear outlet reamains powered, so you can use it to charge the battery.

This is correct. The rear outlet is the only one you can use for charging.
