What Mods Will NOT Void the Warranty?
First of all, I am more than satisfied with how much power my Stingray has at the moment. But just in case I ever feel like adding more horses, I'd like to know what performance modifications (if any) I could make that would NOT void any factory warranties. This is especially important since I purchased the extended 7 year 56,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Thanks!

I don't think there is a single mod you can do with 100% certainty that it will not in any way potentially affect your warranty.

Basically all you can do is an intake and a catback exhaust. If you have an issue I'd put the stock intake back on before taking it in. If you tune the PCM your powertrain warranty is void. Back in the C5 days I had no issues with intake, headers, and a tune. I had engine warranty work done w/o issue. However, I did have a good dealership with a "Corvette Tech" area who only did Vettes.

Read up on the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act ..

Your warranty isn't a single thing that can be voided as a whole .. parts of it can be voided, based on the nature of things you do ..
For instance, if you modify the engine to make more horsepower, the powertrain portion of the warranty can be voided .. but if a headlight stops working, they still have to fix it .. because there's no connection between the powertrain and the headlight .. in other words they can't make the case that changing the engine affected the headlight .. and so forth.
However, making 1000 horsepower could void the warranty on the engine, tranny and diff .. since the extra power COULD be the cause of damage to tranny and diff.

Window tint, radar detector, stickers, splash guards, locking lug nuts, painted Hood blankets, engine area dress-up kits, fancy floor mats, volume control on entertainment systems, seat adjustments, blue tooth pairing, navigation favorites, audio favorites, and much much more as long as you don't mess with the ECM tune in any way or modify the engine and attachments to the engine for horsepower increases.

I don’t know if it is because people don’t mention it or because they assume everyone puts locking lugs on their wheels or what. I’d think anyone would install locking lug nuts immediately. Even the plainest C7 wheel will be very expensive to replace if some street dirtbag decides to relieve you of 1, 2, or 4. Don
