Z51 front brake rotor cooling rings?

Yes, most everyone did. But, new people show up here all the time, and they deserve credit for doing a search and finding old threads.
Moreover, they did receive good answers. It was also useful for old people like me to know that with the updated 1-piece rotors, the cooling rings are no longer necessary.

Cooling rings are only for Z51 cars. And, they have since revised the front rotors so they are no longer required if the new rotors are installed.
Grand Sport and Z06 do not get the cooling rings.

No, you don't need them, for one piece rotors, which you have.
I used them on my z51 and they are very easy to put on, and take off.
I don't know if they helped that much as I eventually went to one piece rotors on the front.
My Grand Sport with z07 pkg does great at the track
the ceramic bracks are awesome! You will really like the way the make the car handle.

Does anyone know the approximate production switch-over date to the one-piece rotors on the Z51 cars?
