First of all I want to thank Mike for helping to make this happen. For anyone looking for Corvette I would highly recommend working with him. His strong ethics and commitment to the customer is second to none. Also I want to thank Lori and Shane for helping to make it a reality. For those of you who have not had the experience of Museum Delivery, you are missing out on something special. Its is well worth the cost and who doesn't like being treated like royalty for a day. Lastly, I want to thank my father for all he has done for me over the years and continues to do. Thanks dad!
The new Stingray is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!

[COLOR="Blue"][SIZE="4"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Dave called me back in January and asked about Museum delivery of two Stingrays...he said he lives in Minnesota and his Father (former Corvette race car driver) Carl who lives in Tenn wanted to fulfill a dream of taking delivery together at the Corvette Museum. I felt this idea was so cool I just had to make it happen one way or another. Both Stingrays were ordered together and Lori at the Museum was great about getting it done! This past week as you can see by the pictures their dream became reality. The whole experience came off perfect.
Congratulations to Carl and Dave on their new C7s! Great job Mike!

Great story Mike!!!
Fast CARL, DAVE:
Congratulations Gentlemen!!! What a very cool story and life event to share together. I also really like the last picture of you all in front of the assembly plant. Your story has planted the idea/seed well within my mind because I am going to attempt to do the same thing with one of my kids in the future. Just didn't ever think of doing that. It is a must do goal now.
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy those awesome Corvettes. You have obvious different taste in your Corvettes which is to be expected.

On September 30, the first day of museum deliveries for the C7, my son and I went to the museum to pick up my Stingray. Without going into detail, this was a pivotal moment in my son's life and a time that it was very important for us to be together. The original plan was for his mother and I to pick up the car. However, due to many circumstances that I won't go into here, she and I decided it would be best if he went with me to pick up the car and drive it home.
It was an awesome experience in every way describable. Our trip back home was epic. I only hope that the guys who picked up their cars in this thread had nearly the meaningful experience that my son and I had.
Thank you Lorie.
Thank you Shane.
I will never forget what you did for my son and me and, from this thread, it is obvious that you are totally in the business of doing this every day.
