I'm sure most of us have stories about the attention our C7s are getting. So, don't you hate it when the guy shooting a phone vid of your C7 is smiling and waving while drifting into your lane?
Don't you hate it when the ambulance driver pulls up next to you, slows down, leans out his window to give you a BIG thumbs up and then hits his horn which from a distance of 4 feet is really freaking loud.

Seems like the C7 is getting a lot of attention. Haven't seem any around here yet though.

My son is driving my C7 (with me in the car with him!) and I have him pull into the neighbor's house. I get out to talk to my neighbor about something when his wife comes out. They recently moved in and are in their late 60s, early 70s. My son is still sitting in the car when the wife starts to yell, "LIGHT IT UP!", "get in the street and LIGHT IT UP!" I then find out she just sold her 427 Corvette when they moved from California.
Edit: I made a note on my phone to NEVER let her drive my Corvette.

Agreed with all the above. This morning after dropping the kiddo off at school, there was a man jogging down the street. I could see him make the "wow" face, and he stopped dead in his tracks. He waved and I back at him. If only it had the same effect on the red head a block later

I have no doubt the C7 is getting major attention.
But I still get my share of it when I'm in my '11 TR GS.
I do hope to get into a C7 in the near future. Great looking rides.

The latest one was when I was stopped at a red light here in L.A. and a homeless man was telling his homeless buddy "hey that's a new stingray, roll the window down!". It was pretty funny. My wife was with me and was perplexed at how a homeless person is up to date with his cars.

It looks like there's no relief in sight, my five year old C6Z was still getting plenty of stares the day I sold it. The TR doesn't help much either, I thought JSB was bad enough. Then they see me and it's like a turd in a chalice.

A lot of picture takers. Some even ask for my permission to take a picture. Those who ask for my permission I tell them
"Give me your camera and have a seat I'll take your pic".

Our Corvette club meets monthly at a local restaurant. At our last meeting, we had some two dozen Corvettes lined up in the parking lot next to the street. After we had eaten and were having an update on upcoming events, I was looking out the window at two people(man & women in their early 20's) that were looking at our Corvettes. They were looking and pointing at different cars, etc and you could see their mouths moving, so they were clearing discussing the various cars. I didn't notice that they paid any special attention to the new C7 that was parked in the middle of the lineup over the C5's and C6's. They were clearly enjoying looking at all the Corvettes.

I agree!
I have a 2010 TR GS vert with silver stripes, this three year old car still gets an amazing amount of attention and cannot wait for my new TR vert to arrive next Spring.

At the dealers (bringing in my C7 for replacement screen and now driving a Cruze that doesn't have an accelerator pedal, at least it doesn't feel like it has one) and I walk out to find some guy giving a lecture to a group of 4-5 people on the C7. He has his hands all over my car, touching this, pointing out that. Hate to admit it but I was so shocked and at a loss for words. The guy is acting like it is his car and I stand there like an idiot. He finally walked away and the group moved on to other things.
Still feel like an idiot for letting my baby get manhandled by some stranger.

I got pulled over on my Jackpot Chopper and didnt have: wallet, insurance, ownership, license and my sticker was past due.....He came back and asked me: who painted it, how big the rear tire was, how loud it is, etc etc etc.....then he said : get to license bureau for sticker and get home first for your wallet....He just wanted to see the bike
