Sure have come a long way since the C5 days. They look far better than the C6 also.

The C4 and C5 headlights were terrible, especially with new blacktop on country roads. The C6 headlights were much much better.

What are we looking at, low beam or high beam?

I am hoping the high beams have more light to the sides for curves.

Those are definitely low beam. How's the cutoff? This may seem cheesy but I've always loved how some cars have a beautiful razor-like cutoff from the projectors. Acura and Honda have especially nice ones.

Yeah. They're pretty good. But I'm surprised they didn't go with a whiter color. Either way, they work very well, and the brights are pretty cool with the solenoid actuated blinders. They could be a little brighter, but I'm pretty pleased with them as they come.

I also like how they handled the brights controls. There's no solid state forward or backward lock. It's all momentary switches.
