Yup, I thought the same thing after seeing that pic for the first time. The car looks great.

I prefer the MY (discontinued 2006 or late 2005) than VY.

The problem with yellow in the past, for me anyway, was there was just too much yellow. Now that the C7 has sharper lines with the black vents and black rear end, there is much more contrast. To me, this is why yellow looks so great on the C7.
In the same way a yellow C7, Ferrari or Lambo looks great, vs a yellow base 911 coupe or C5/C6 , the latter cars a bit too buttoned down for yellow, IMO.

I expect to see a large increase in VY , AW, & BS for the C7.
Its funny how the colors that were the least popular on the C6 are selling more and imho look the best on the C7.

As I've said on other posts, I love the yellow. It's not my first choice, though. Ideally, I'd get silver with blue seats. However, the blue interior is only available with 3LT. To keep the weight down, I'd prefer just the 1LT. It's kind of irritating that GM does this kind of stuff over interior color. Looks like I'll have to "settle" for a yellow Z51 with black 1LT package. Always liked the MY on the C5's....

I wasn't looking for the thread - didn't realize I had scrolled all the way down to "related threads"

I think the yellow looks very good on the C7, but have seen very few examples of that color around here.

Looking at the production numbers you cite, you answered your own question.

The fact you observed a biased sample means nothing... apart from your sample being wonky.

Hmmm....at the Bash GM execs showed the numbers, 1-Artic White, 2-Black, 3-Torch Red, 4-Sebring Orange and so on.......pretty easy to find this stuff.

I would like to see some photos taken outside so that I can get a true look at this shade.
As of now,I will pass on this rendition of Velocity Yellow. It appears to me that there is a little green in this yellow.
