I just installed a Wal-mart Maxx. 3 year free replacement. 700+ CCA. There are few who have installed AGM Batteries with good success but the charging algorithms are set up for wet cell batteries. Your choice.

Interstate Battery from COSTCO . They have a great return policy and the price can't be beat.

I'm running Duralast in both of my cars. AGM in the Corvette for 2 years. No problems, but I drive it almost everyday.

I have read other posts regarding AGM batteries and would go with that. I think there are only a couple makes that fit properly. I have an AGM in my Ford F-150 and in my Jeep and when I need one for the Corvette I am going with the AGM.

I got an AC Delco installed by the dealer.
They managed to disconnect the infamous "little black wire" during the install (not sure how they missed seeing that), which I brought to their attention when the battery warning light came on while heading home, fixed it myself, and they refunded the installation charge.
6 1/2 years on OEM battery, so why not?

I went with Energizer AGM from Costco. All good. BTW, mileage is irrelevant when it comes to batteries. Age is the important thing.
If you install it yourself, don't break the vent tube fitting on the right side, or rip the carpet when you pull it back.

I went with the AC Delco 42 month battery. I wanted to stay as close to OEM as I could.
Be careful, keep your old battery until AFTER you install the new battery. I did and found there was a small part stuck on the old battery that I needed to complete the job correctly. Sorry, I can't remember what it was.

Going on 44 k miles.Build was....walking out to the garage
On the door label: 10/16 Purchased from Kerbeck lot on 6/28/17
Did they keep it on a trickle till purchased? That would be a NO
Did I when parked, yes. So this year will be................Figuring it out...
Ahh,In 2 months it will be my batteries 7th Anniversary. It is working.
Not pushing it,like leaving a radio on during acc. mode etc.
Hopefully it will make it till storage this year
I probably just jinked myself posting this

LOL... I got worried about this 2 or 3 years ago and replaced my working OEM AC Delco battery with a DieHard AGM... which works fine. And then I took the OEM AC Delco and put it in a rarely used farm truck that sits in an open shed in Pennsylvania. I charge it once or twice a year and disconnect it when not in use and that battery is still going strong at almost 8 years old.

I have a 2015 still on it's original OEM battery... I kind of feel like I should proactively replace it, but it's still running strong. It recently sat for close to 3 weeks between starts and fired right up, which is something my Mazda 3 with a 1yr old battery from Costco can't do.
Although I do get a CEL from a gear position sensor voltage mismatch pretty frequently and although I'm pretty sure that sensor is bad, some small part of me wonders if the battery age is the actual culprit..
