Have fun at your first meet. I did the same thing back in 98 when the C5 first came out....we had lots of onlookers and great times for many years. Was C5s only for quite a while, then it opened up to all generations....we learned a lot from each other and made some great lifetime friends.

....most welcome Glen. Here's a tip you might like. You will most likely be the ringleader for your events...once you set up a 'meet for lunch' get together be sure to insist on separate checks. Don't offer to pay the entire bill with each guy reimbursing you at the venue. I found out the hard way that there are many who cannot figure out the tax and tip on their total meal.
Cost me $60 over and above my share...that was an expensive burger and beer!

Then there is the other side. I knew a guy who would always insist on a single check but he would tell us exactly what we owed. I wondered why he always did this (and we are talking about some nice tabs, there were 15-20 of us on that committee) and he said he wrote off all the meals on his taxes. I know he had close to $2000 yearly from this one committee alone.
