Good to see some new MNRB posts! My older vettes were red, but I saw a '16 MNRB. It looked classy. elegant, and sleek, and took it home. The red color on the new body style has a lot of black pieces that can look like 'too much' to some, but cool to others.
The car can look almost completely grey on a gloomy cloudy day, but sunshine makes the thing sparkle a deep blue.
Many pics of MNRB have the blue 'peaked' to highlight the color, but for me the draw was that classy look without being overly obviously blue.
I just realized one of my liner fabrics looks like Night Race Blue...pm me if interested....several lighting conditions...seems to change color just like the paint does.
We love our NRB Convertible. Added subtle stripes. grey interior and this is 1 of only 64 Convertibles in 2016. We get so many great comments on our cruises with our club. I will never sell this one. I have had several and this is by far the most fun to drive. And yes we always look back when we park and go into a restaurant or venue we travel to. It is certainly a Chameleon depending on the sun and time of day.
In the C6 there were. It was a one year only color. I had one. Traded it for a NRB 427 convertible. I don't think that they have had the paint in 2017 or since.
Some pics from Memorial Day. I was at a water park with my friends but kept sneaking outside to take pictures because the car was clean and the sun was high in the sky - two things needed to catch Night Race Blue in all its glory.
It's just a base 2LT Stingray, but the NRB, stripes, and Vertini RF1.1s go together so well!
