Default 2014 C7 Premiere Edition Lime Rock Green

What does everyone think of this color combination? The other Premiere Edition coming out soon is Convertible Automatic Lime Rock Green with Brownstone interior and a Kalahari top...just doesn't do much for me.
Also, why would you want a Z51 3LT with automatic? I guess everyone has their own taste. If you want Premiere get the 7 speed Blue one!! My opinion.

They haven't made the convertible Premiere yet, but here's a pic of the Lime Rock color.

Wow! Reminds me of my dear departed 1974 "DarkGreen". I loved that color!

Has my name all over it! I'd park it next to our 70' Donniebrook Green, Saddle interior car.

I have the coupe Premier Edition that list for just over $76k.

Add $8k for a convertible and I think you'll have a ball park figure.

Why not an automatic? I have the coupe with a 7 spd and for most of the driving I do, I'd prefer the automatic. Traffic & traffic lights determine this.

As far as performance, I have a Callaway with an auto that will blow the doors off most any Z06 or ZR1 out there. Why? Because while they're shifting up thru the gears, I'm gone.

As far as performance, I have a lowely Mustang that will do the same. Why, because it's fast and well .............it's just fast that's all.

Let the sarcasm begin ......

I like that color combination. Reminds me of the C4s and C5s that were petty close to that color.

Love the Lime Rock Green. It's my first color choice. Got to sit in one last July at Lime Rock Park during the ALMS race. I've been wanting one ever since.

LRG with 2LT Kalahari interior is my choice (except hardtop).

Beautiful colors IMO.

Indeed...I fail to understand why many people with a manual seem to have such distain for folks that prefer automatic. I drove a manual for years and simply grew tired of it, I now love the auto. Doesn't mean I think badly of or less of folks that still prefer the manual - it just isn't for me at this time. Maybe I'll change my mind later. Point is...relax and enjoy whichever set up suits YOU and let other decide what works best for them.

You should see rants in the Z06 section about the fact that there will most likely be an A8 in the C7 Z. Like Tadge said, if that baby doesn't sell in the numbers GM wants, there won't be another. Me, I will be doing my part to help if it has one. Especially a drop top !

Wow, a Z06 vert and A8, that would be my second C7 buy [still impatiently awaiting my first arrival]!
