C7 convertible trunk
#3
Thanks for you effort and concern on the subject.
I have had an order for a convertible since July and have been at 3400. I was told this morning that my car has been built and is at the plant.
I have been on this forum since my order was placed and have not seen this issue discussed. The only reference I have seen is the trunk space of the coupe. Since the convertibles have been in production for about a month and have just reached customers I posted this for those that have taken delivery of the C7 convertible and had a C6 previously so they could tell me if the trunks are the same size, smaller or what.
I again ask C7 convertible persons that have taken delivery of their car and have had a C6 convertible to help me out.

Sure about that?
I can tell you some things that HAVE been discussed for months. Z07 speculation, orange peel paint, grenading rear ends, dim displays at dusk, 2LT v 3LT, discounted leftover C6 v new C7, should I take a chance on a first-year model, should I get MRC, should I get Z51, can I really be happy with a 1LT, some more Z07 speculation, where's my car a month after it was built, why hasn't my car been built three months after I ordered it, and a couple dozen new Z07 threads a day.
I can't remember trunk capacities coming up anytime recently.

From the Chevy specs on their website:
2014 Convertible Trunk Volume = 10.0 cu ft. (presuming that is with the top up)
2013 Convertible Trunk Volume = 11.0 cu ft. (ditto)
2014 Coupe "Trunk" Volume = 15.0 cu ft.
2013 Coupe "Trunk" Volume = 22.4 cu ft.

Those Coasters said nothing about C7 convertible trunk space? They sang an old song in black and white, even?. Boy videos have come a long way. ------ The trunk volume of the coupe took quite a hit loosing 7.4 cu ft. The convertible, a minus 1 cu ft. Larry I have seen your vehicles progress, mine last I checked is still at 1100. I don't expect movement until around the middle of this month.
