What do you do with the stock rims that came on the car? Trade them in for the new ones? Do the prices quoted include the trade in, if there is one?

Does anyone know which TSW will fit on a Z51? I went to the TSW site and they say there are not any wheels available for the C7 (bizarre since there is a posting above with the wheels on). My car is being shipped and I will probably have to bite the bullet and buy some Michelin A/S 3s in order to drive it now that the temp is going to dip way below freezing.

Sell them on the forums or keep them. There is almost never a trade in value for wheels. I will keep the run flats on the stock wheels while the HRE's will get some seriously sticky street rubber like Toyo proxes R888's or something similar. Perks of living in Phoenix means summer tires work all year!

Good info. Also, keep in mind if you live in pothole country take into account you really don't want to go any lower than 30 series tires. I have unintentionally bent rims on low series wheels 4 times.

Any of these 19/20 wheel combos run a 305 or larger rear tire?

Glen,

Thanks for the advice. Would you know which wheels would be in silver? Will these fit for Michelin A/S 3s? I just saw online that my car went to status 5000 (dealer still hasn't contacted me) but the weather went bad today and I will have to spring for new tires (and wheels) if I don't want to garage the car until the spring.

Offset looks perfect and the machined face looks great with the grey and red calipers. Best looking combo I've seen. Any more pics?

sure - and you are right about offset - wheels perfect flush with body in person.

Someone suggested the 275/30-19 and 305/30-19 tire sizes because they are available in Extreme Performance category tires, because the wheel diameter clears the Z51 brakes, and because these tire diameters are close to the OEM run-flat diameters.

Then TR has the Oz Superleggera III in 19 x 9.5 59mm and 19 x 11 75mm. And those wheels are listed under the C6 at about $900 each.

Problems ?

Well, 5mm more outward wheel offset might work and so that is either a spacer or a special order. But special order of offsets might be available.

Next, the front tire will have a shorter sidewall than the rear tire.

Watch list ?

BBS doesn't yet have RS-GT wheels listed for the C7 Z51. But it looks like they will do 9" front wheel width and 10.5" rear wheel width instead of 9.5" and 11"
.
