Stinger Stripe or Not?

I don't do vinyl on my cars and the factory stinger stripe is vinyl. I had my Carbon Flash stinger stripe painted. They "buried" the edges with clear coat. Cost me $350 and it looks and feels perfect.
On a VY C7 either stripe, vinyl or paint, would look great. My 2 cent opinion...do it!

I like it as it ties the hood vent to the windshield and eliminates the vent "swimming" in the hood color. The chev stripe is $500 and a total waste of money. "They say" it's because it has paint on it and matches better. Hogwash, it's vinyl. I have had my vinyl side by side with a premier edition and they are exactly the same.
You can get the stinger stripe from Vette FX, a vendor here, and take it to a wrap shop and get it applied professionally all for about $275. A much better deal than what chev wants..
Side by side Chev stringer vs Vette FX:

My thought too. I don't care what it costs and if it is worth anything if I trade the car. As long as it makes the car how I want it. I had the windows tinted for that same reason.

They'll cut it for you on their machine and it looks just like the GM decal... You can install it or the decal shop can install it.
I got a C6 hood stripe cut like the one below and they only charged me $35 (uninstalled)... I installed it myself but that only took a few minutes.
