MacMulkin - C7 California Delivery/Intercity
Just took delivery of a 2014 Corvette, Z51, night race blue, etc.
I live in California, land of the $5000.00 markup. After placing deposits with 5 dealerships (2 in California, 3 out of state) and trying to work with Autonation, I finally ran into MacMulkin in New Hampshire. All it took was a quick 15 minute phone call with Tommy Jr., and I had purchased this vehicle. The vehicle is exactly what I wanted, with the exception of the extra transparent roof (I'll live).
Some might call me crazy, but I wired all the money the next day from my credit union. Delivery was set up by Tommy with Intercity Lines. Vehicle was picked up just before Thanksgiving. The driver, Roy, was awesome. The vehicle was covered the entire trip as promised and made it here safely despite the major storms going on right now. The vehicle was also shipped on an enclosed trailer. I was kept informed the entire time as to Roy's status.
For all the people in California (and other states) looking to buy a C7 with Z51, I'd recommend giving Tommy or Ron a call. I was only charged the MSRP with no extra fees. The shipping was my cost but given all the markups and extra fees in California, it is really a wash and I probably saved money. Tommy and Ron sent me several pictures of the vehicle being loaded and stored. Although they are busy, I was able to reach them by text.
I'd like to note that Tommy and Ron included the original cover that GM used when shipping the car (white thing) and a brochure. Both of which collectors are dying for.
Finally, I will mention (and I'm sure Tommy, Ron and Roy will agree) that I am new too all this. I've never purchased a new Corvette before and was very nervous the whole time. My wife and I saved for several years in order to purchase this vehicle. Even though the 3 of them are busy, I was treated like I was their only customer.

I bought mine from Tommy, from out of state as well. It was easiest transaction I've ever had in my life on buying any vehicle.
I basical called him up on the phone and said hold lot # xxx and I'll be out in a couple weeks with a check for the full amount. He said done, it's your. No deposit to hold, no BS.
Congrats on your NRB. I actually saw a NRB C7 at MacMulkins show room a few weeks ago and the color is amazing in person. I wonder if yours is the one I saw. It was on the second floor on Nov 18th, '13

Very glad to hear a positive story. I live in Orange County, I ordered my car from a local dealer, whom I have purchased a few new cars from. I paid a few thousand over MSRP, but this dealer has always taken great care of me with all my cars, so I am loyal.
I like reading about how you can buy out of state, and it all works out. Enjoy your car, C7 is an amazing car.

Nice, congrats. I'm thinking about NRB. I think C7s look exceptional in in dark colors. Strangely, its not that popular. There are not a ton of pictures the way there are for Red or silver or especially gray. Take some more

It's refreshing to see stories such as yours. I can tell you just shot that photo as you got it, plastic is till on the seats . It looks great and I'm sure you're going to really enjoy her. Is that the delivery truck still showing on the extreme right side of the photo?

Here are some more photographs from this mornings delivery. I also included 1 from the pickup at MacMulkin.
Car came with everything covered in plastic. All paperwork, window stickers, manuals, etc., included. Driver had both keys for obvious reasons.
I just received an email from Ron at MacMulkin....this was definitely a leap of faith as I had all the funds wired immediately (no prior deposit). Glad I choose MacMulkin and Intercity.
I would also add to my original post, I placed 4 different deposits with dealerships throughout the U.S. Every one of them was refundable and I did get all my money back.

Just wanted to post an update.
On Monday of this week, car was added to insurance.
On Tuesday of this week, smog test completed.
Today, Thursday, car registered at DMV. Everything went smooth.

I bought my 06 from him stand up guy. I guess you bought an in stock car as he also takes orders from the factory and then you do a courtesy delivery local to you a lot cheaper that way as you only pay factory delivery and a varying amount of money to the butt hurt local guy
