Which do you like best - C7 Coupe or C7 Convertible?
Personally, I usually prefer a convertible over a coupe when it comes to sports cars. Something about the look of the C7 changed that for me, and until I saw a forum member's post including a photo of his new convertible C7 (which I think is absolutely beautiful, by the way), I didn't know for sure what it was. But the photo I saw provided the answer that had alluded me until now. To me, the C7's hard edges continue through the coupe's top in a consistent flow to the rear. On the convertible, the hard edges appear front heavy without the lines that the coupe's top and rear hatch provide. I would be happy to own either the C7 coupe or the C7 convertible, and may someday own one of each. But for the first time in my life, I prefer Corvette's coupe over its convertible.
I wonder if anyone else has realized a preference change either way with the new Corvette. Polling is now open!

Coupe - primarily as it looks more exotic to me and rag tops gather dirt...also the back window and sides give the coupe a more sinister look to me...I also like the coupe rear cargo space capacity, and with the cargo partition sold here, it's usable space.

The vert loses the exotic look that the coupe has.

Other than the C2, which looks great as a vert but if I ever buy one it'll be a coupe, I prefer convertibles both for looks and driving experience.

I much prefer the coupe. Half of the body design for the "stingray" is in the roof line. The convertible takes all that away. Unless you're looking at the convertible from the rear, it doesn't look all that much different to me than a C6 convertible. Just my opinion.
And being that it's only a two seater, the Targa top put's just as many heads in the sun as does the convertible, so I'm happy with my coupe! I have owned three previous Vette convertible's, just couldn't do it this time.

Coupe !
It's not even close... The C7's new design looks better in coupe form.
The overall shape of the C7 Vert. looks close to the C6 Vert... When it comes to the C7, the coupe wins.

I am a huge convertible fan! I currently also own a C6 Vert and absolutely love it!
When i saw the Vert pics I wasn't impressed. I thought the couple as better lines and the Vert doesn't look as aggressive and very plain. I prob will own a C7 Vert one day but only if they make a widebody that is more aggressive.

I am a ragtop man at heart, so all my sports car dreams are about driving with the top down. I have to say I do love the look of the C7 convertible with the top down. Most of the others are either boring sedans with the roof chopped off, or too "cute".
The C7 convertible still looks pretty good with the top up (but admittedly not as good as the coupe).
This is going to sound really lame, but one reason I picked the Corvette convertible over other competing hard-top convertibles is because a ragtop leaves more trunk space. I hate locking my car, or even if locked, leaving my bag where people can see it is in the car. I need to have a secure place for my laptop and stuff. Also, as a summer daily driver, I need room for all those summer accessories like golf clubs, beer, softball bags, beer coolers, and a place to haul all those summer changes of clothes.

Unless it's a mid year, always a coupe.

I prefer the looks of the coupe, but either one would be a nice addition to my garage.

16 Vettes and counting…..
I think the roof line of the coupe works better with the hard edged design and I do usually prefer a vert. The ugly Z51 spoiler looks even worse on the convertible....completely stops and ruins the flowing lines of an otherwise nice design. That's just my opinion....not trying to **** on the spoiler lovers' Cheerios. All C7's are beautiful, regardless.
