seems to me we have yet another butthurt C6 owner trying to justify why he still owns a base C6. 
If it makes you feel any better I'm sure your car is faster than a C4.

I ran my full bolt on LS3 the first day i got my C7. Drivers race. I would either pull a car to 140mph or he would pull a car to 140mph. The LS3 alone doesn't stand a chance... Please just except reality... the new corvette is faster/better than the last. Get used to it

Not intersted in seeing a dig race , which would be , the car gets better traction or who has the better driver. would love to see a roll race ..

All these posts, but only ONE out of state challenge.
I'm not here to argue or prove myself. I want to run a C7 period, but I will say the fastest times on here don't represent the majority of what you'll see on the street or at the track across the country.

My races were roll races 40-140mph. And the outcome was as stated. Both cars were manuals, and both drivers are experienced. Drivers race every time
C6: Full bolt ones
C7: Z51 stock

My buddies C5 with headers, Intake and tune inched on a C7 the other day.... And my LS3 inches on him.. I'm all stock....
Bottom line is, the cars are so close that the better driver is going to win every time...
As far as mods go.... LS3's are making just as much power as the new LT1 with the same mods.

The C-6 needs headers and tune and then it's should be close.
Otherwise the C-7 will win.
