Default Calling out any, central FL, C7 owner to run my C6!

Nothing personal here, but I don't believe the C7 is as fast as people are claiming it to be any one want to run my stock LS3, stock vs stock, on video and prove me wrong?

FYI I'm not saying the C6 is faster than the C7. That would be stupid. I don't think they will "Smoke","Murder","Walk" an LS3 like a Z06 would though.

Sure.
I had planned on having my C7 down in Florida sooner, but should have it there in the next month or two.
We can do this at OSW either at T&T or at a rental. I'll stick a GoPro on the back window and have a few friends there to video it.

They will be so close that whoever nudges the gas pedal first is likely to win. The C7 will be easier to launch if it is a Z51, but once rolling I'll bet they are pretty even.

The torque alone of the LT1 spells doom for the LS3 I'm sorry to say.

Let me know who to give the $$ to on this wager.

I agree though, ET vs ET after both drivers have made a few passes to figure it out. Drag racing on a track is not as easy as it seems for the first time driver.

A lot of folks didn't think the LS3 was as fast as people were claiming either. I look forward to hearing the result. You talking track or 1/4 mile?

I guess when I posted this in early-October and not a single C6 LS3 replied/committed I should have cried wolf in this section that they were all "scared" and "b**ches".

And why would you think that? The C7 has significantly more torque throughout the rev range as well as more top end HP. Lots of low 12 sec 1/4 mile times, most C6s I’ve seen tests on are high 12 cars. Chevy certainly doesn’t agree with your opinion. Don

Maybe you missed the 1000 post thread where Snorman has several 11.6 runs at 119-120mph. I would think thats a few car lengths on a comparable stock C6 and not anything, anyone, would call close.

Fast in a straight line, or fast at the track?
