Dealer mistake... will they be able to change my order?

That's what they said. Guess we'll decide once the other one comes in. I did just look up the other order number on the Chevy tracker, and it also says queued for production. It may not be here much sooner than my "real" order.

Hi Alysha,
If you want to PM with your order number I can look up the number code for you. This will help show you exactly where she is at in production.
Happy New Year,

It's a shame they made the error, but so long as you like what's coming I suppose that's the best they can do short of reentering the original order. I would hope that if you take the one coming in, they pay for the powder coating or at least sell it to you at the same price as the original order. And if you have to wait for the car you actually DID want, let's hope they give you a discount for your disappointment and time. Being a repeat customer, that and an apology is the least they should do for you!
Good luck with your decision.

Well, the "replacement" car came in today. We had a few options to choose from, as the dealer did everything they could to make it right.
We ended up ordering a set of yellow calipers that will be put on when they arrive. So, guess I have an extra set of black calipers, just in case.
Got a call right when the truck got there, hubby and I headed up to see what we wanted to do.
A few pics coming off the truck and after the cover was removed:
Traded the Infiniti QX56 in (that's our Ford Raptor next to it... not trading that, though ):

Grats on the new car, it looks beautiful and sounds like the dealer made it right for you. Nice that you got the carbon fiber roof, and TBH, the car looks much better with the hood stripe on it (for yellow cars), and got it early to boot. Yay!

Nothing new after what I posted yesterday...
They are going to change my order to an automatic, which I'm sure will add some time to the wait. But, in the meantime, they have another Z51 coming in "shortly" that is unclaimed. It is very similar to the one I ordered, with a few exceptions:
1. It doesn't have yellow calipers.
2. It has a black strip on the hood. I think they called it a flash stripe, or something like that.
3. It has a carbon fiber roof. We originally ordered a dual roof, but dropped it to a body color roof because we were waiting for constraints, so at least we'd be back to the CF one.
No other differences that I can see. Just don't know when it will be here. We're gonna go take a look at it when it shows up and decide then.
