Thanks for the write-up. I've never thought about taking the warning labels off my car but I know a lot of owners do not like them on the sunvisors.

Now that looks perfect. Very impressive. Hands down the best solution for those labels. I never really liked those vinyl overlays as they look like an after thought. As such, I never messed with or covered up my labels. Thanks for sharing your results.

I wonder if Windex with vinegar or straight vinegar would work well for removing the adhesive and be less harsh on the fabric. I know that vinegar is great for removing window tint adhesive. Then again, why mess with a good thing. I might just have to do the same. What adhesive remover did you use? You mentioned mild adhesive remover which is why I ask.

No problem. You could always try it and see. Let us know the results if you do.

The warning labels have never bothered me, but if they did, I'd removed the visors and have them covered with alcantara at the upholstery shop.

To me why take a chance on not doing it right and having a mess on your hands. Besides in 50 or so years when these become classics, the buyer will be looking for correct replacement decals (lol)

Well, you do have a valid second point. But the results I obtained are mess free (although I could see how someone could make a mess of things under the right circumstances).

I cover my driver side label with a reminder note about when I come off Deferred Adjudication for my latest speeding ticket. Using this practice with my lead foot, I rarely get to see that silly label.

Thanks! I'm happy with the final result and glad it came out like it did. I was a little apprehensive because there were quite a few posts online about removing the labels, but not very many pictures, which made me think people weren't having the best luck with this. Hopefully this post helps others wanting to remove these.

Looks great with the final result.

I never removed mine before, but I think I may when my C7 arrives.

Which mild chemicals did you end up using? I'd just like to know so your "mild" and my "mild" are similar.

I'll have to check when I get home. My wife had something similar to Goo Gone, but I can't recall the name of it. Will post it when I get home.

Do you know you can set a Speed Warning, and it will chime at you and display a message that you've exceeded whatever speed you have set? I have mine set at 80, and it regularly goes off, which prompts me to let off the gas a bit (unless...).

Back on topic - thanks for posting this, OP. I'm waiting to learn what chemical you used to get the glue off before trying it myself.

You could always have some Caravaggio visors done up.

Very nice products, but I'd rather spend $500 on another mod.
