The "mild" adhesive I used was Elmer's Sticky Out.

First, I read through a previous thread regarding visor warning label removal and got some ideas from that thread as well as other online sources. At this point, I'm not 100% satisfied with the results, but I'm going to figure out how to get it perfect, or close to it. After using several suggested methods, I found the following to work best on the C7 black visor fabric.

Thanks for the post. I followed it but for the microfiber upper and they came off with little problem and no damage. There is an outline left behind but I found that some light rubbing with a wet microfiber towel will get all the lines and patch to match the rest of the visor.

Covered the airbag labels on my new C7 sun visors with flat black/cashmere lettered Corvette logo labels from Decal Dave. Goes on right over existing warning labels, and, covers them completely. With my Kalahari interior it looks just like it was designed for the interior of my C7, and, looks sharp. Cost was only $19.99 for both decals. Took 5 minutes to install.
Did you design your label and send it to Decal Dave?

No, stock item/color. Variety of colors are offered to match your interior. You simply specify what color lettering you want based on the interior color of your C7 when you place your order. No glue, no mess. And, if ever you want to restore your C7 to factory specs, the sun visor decal comes right off with a hair dryer. With the color matched Corvettre logo lettering, the sun visor decals look like they were custom made for your C7.

With Suede uppers, it is even easier, literally no residue. For taller drivers these stickers are a real distractor. Follow the method above and you will be happy with the results. cover-ups are tacky and in my C6 when the cover-up was removed it took half the sticker and made it look like a mess. First mod I did, very happy to see these go.

That looks like a lot of work but your results speak for themselves. I won't worry about it until I actually get my car and see if the stickers pizz me off.

What exactly did you do?
I have had my car about a month. Wonder if it is too late to remove them at this point?

Just heat with a hair dryer and do your best to peel and pull so it comes off in one piece. Take your time. Be gentle.
Microfiber towel it softly for 30 seconds after you get in and out of the car each time for a little while until they lines are gone. You don't want rub it all in one sitting because you'll wear out the pile. A little it at a time and eventually the residue will be greatly reduced more and more each time. - I am referring to the sueded upper trim only.

You can do it still. It's not like they bond more over time. I removed after I had the car for a month.

Microfiber towel wet, just mildly damp, or completely dry?
About how many times did it take?
Also, where did you get such a microfiber towel?
Never heard of one.

I got mine off with heat and patience.
Now for the follow up - Do I completely wet the microfiber towel, slightly dampen it, or keep it dry?
Thanks
