They wouldn't stand out as much, but they would look good with the exterior color, in my opinion.

Really looks good. Amazing what a little thinking outside the box can do for the looks of the car.

The blue will not contrast the black like red or yellow would. But I don't think it will look bad. I would probably leave it white.

You could test it before marking up a 60K car. Go to walmart and buy two sheets of cheap leather, sew them together, then dye the stitching. See how it looks to you. More work and assumes you have a sewing machine, but at least you can get an idea before you do it.

Wow, I really like what you did. Looks great! Must have been a little scary thinking about the possibility of staining the surrounding leather but it appears you took proper care and the results show it. Well done.

Very good idea, Stingray. I will definitely try that. My wife also thinks leaving the stitches white would be better.

I know what I'm going to ask is absurd, but I have a Laguna Blue C7 with the gray interior and have thought since I bought the car that the stitching would look awesome if it was colored the color of the car.

I am quite sure that it would be almost impossible to color it without getting the dye on the light gray seats.

If this is not possible doing it myself, does anyone know of a company that could accomplish this?

Thank you for your input.

What does the other side of the pen say? "WRITER"?

Here's what blue might look like. It's from an '09 R/T Classic Dodge Challenger.

I had the same question, and Dan was kind enough to PM me all the info. Yes, it is the Zig Writer. I looked around, and some places were charging $9 shipping for 3 pens. I found the best price at MarkerSupply.com and shipping was only ~$2.75

If anyone wants the red Zig writer pens, PM me. I've got 2 of them, brand new, $4 shipped.
I ordered them earlier this week without having my C7 yet. Just got it this morning, and my red interior already has red stitching on the dash and other areas...

I like it very much but just wonder when summer gets here and the weather gets really hot if your body sweat isn't going to perhaps smear the color.

Wonder how the color holds up to sweat and other liquids. Could it stain clothes?
